Template

Create custom meeting templates for consistent, professional summaries.

Template overview

Templates let you create consistent meeting summaries that always have the same structure. You can customize them however you want to match your workflow. Types of templates:
  • Summary: For the AI summaries you get after meetings. Can be applied automatically with tags or chosen manually
  • Messenger: For sending summaries to Slack
  • Mail body: For creating email drafts
  • CRM: For uploading data to Salesforce, HubSpot, and other CRM systems

Creating Templates

To create a template: Go to Settings → Templates → “Create New Template” The basics: Give it a name, pick a category (Summary/Messenger/Mail/CRM), and add a description.

Template Format

Templates tell the AI how you want your summaries to look. Just describe what should be included and how it should be organized. Example template:
## Meeting Overview
{Brief summary of meeting purpose and outcomes}

## Key Discussion Points
{Main topics discussed with important details}

## Action Items
{Specific tasks with owners and deadlines}

## Next Steps
{Planned follow-up actions}
- {timestamp} {PIC(Person in charge of)} / {Action Item} / {Due date (if it has)}
Tip: Use curly braces to specify content - {describe key points} tells AI to focus on describing the main discussion points.

Best practices

Design tips: Use clear sections, keep formatting consistent, and focus on what’s actually important. Getting started: Start with something simple, get feedback from your team, and improve it over time.
