Recording Controls
Audio Toggle
Enable or disable audio recording for your workspace. If disabled, Caret still provides real-time suggestions via live transcription but won’t save audio files.Storage Location
- Cloud Storage: Audio is processed and stored on our secure servers for playback and team sharing.
- Local Storage: Audio is processed on your device and never uploaded to our servers.
Local storage offers maximum privacy but limits sharing and multi-device
access.

Meeting Permissions
Set default visibility for new recordings:- Private: Only the creator can view.
- Workspace: All workspace members can view.
- Public: Anyone with the link can view.
Data Retention
Automatically purge old data to match your policies. Options include:- Never (Default)
- 7, 30, 90, 180, or 365 days.
