Caret’s Zapier integration allows you to build custom workflows that trigger whenever a meeting is created or processed.

Setup

To connect Caret to Zapier, you will need an API key and a webhook URL from your Caret workspace.

API Key

Go to Settings > Developer and click Create API Key.

Webhook

In the Developer tab, click Add Webhook and provide the destination URL from Zapier.

Zap Setup

Create a new Zap, search for Caret, and choose your trigger event (e.g., meeting.processed).

Available Events

meeting.processedTriggered when the transcript and AI summary are generated.

Common Use Cases

  • Task Management: Create tasks in Asana, Trello, or Jira based on action items.
  • Custom Sync: Send meeting data to any platform not natively supported.
  • Email Follow-ups: Automatically draft follow-ups in Gmail or Outlook.
  • Data Archiving: Send meeting metadata to Google Sheets or Airtable for tracking.
