# Notion

> Automatically export meeting notes, summaries, and transcripts to your Notion workspace.

Caret's Notion integration helps you build a centralized knowledge base for all your meetings and project notes.

## Setup

1. Go to **Settings > Integrations** in Caret.
2. Click **Connect** next to Notion.
3. Select your workspace and the specific pages you want Caret to access.

## Features

### Export Options

Configure Caret to send data to Notion in two ways:

* **Databases**: Create a new entry in a Notion database with mapped properties like "Date", "Participants", and "Summary".
* **Pages**: Create a new sub-page within a designated parent page for each meeting.

### Automation Rules

* **All Meetings**: Automatically export every recorded call.
* **Folder-based**: Only export meetings moved into specific folders (e.g., "Project Sync" or "Research").

### Custom Data

Choose what information to send. Use default summaries or custom prompts to extract specific insights for your Notion records.

### Full Transcripts

Choose to include the full meeting transcript at the bottom of the Notion page for complete record-keeping.
